About Us

The Wine Garden is the creation of the mother daughter duo, Nazaret and Favian. The bond between the two would be the catalyst to building a business like no other, the only women black-owned wine garden in the city of Philadelphia. What began in 2019 as a simple idea to bring a beautiful outdoor space to their community, has turned into what we all know as The Wine Garden today.

The two are Philadelphia natives and were inspired by beer gardens. They wanted to re-create an environment where wine lovers could enjoy the same vibrant venues. The Wine Garden is a place for new and experienced wine drinkers alike. During the unfortunate COVID 19 Pandemic, the two began to brainstorm new ways to bring people together safely, and brunch in the garden was born. Last season, the wine garden opened its doors to a second location in center city.

The Wine Garden is an urban oasis, that transcends norms.  It inspires creativity, breeds elegance, promotes open dialogue and delivers a wide range of new experiences. Now that our vision is finally a reality, we can’t wait to continue on this amazing journey with you all.
